Washington by night

Last night I had the bright (or dark considering the time of day) idea to take the family, kids in jams, into the city for a nighttime photo session and to look at all the monuments in a different light than the kids were used to looking at them. Poor Simon passed out before we hit oldtown, but the other two hung in there until we were on the way back and got to enjoy the scenery before they finally wound up in bed.
