For the title of this post, see the picture below...

These are some shoes I found on DoDTracker.com one day and couldn't pass up. I love'em. I wear them most every day. I've got the tan lines on my feet to prove it.

There's an order put out by the Marine Corps which prohibits the wearing of "Shower Shoes or Flip-Flops". I circumvent this by saying that these shoes were billed as "sandals" and that they cost considerably more than the plastic and foam things they are obviously trying to prohibit.

Where am I going with this?

Of course it's political.

Barry is trying to go on the offensive with Sarah by saying (truthfully so) that she was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it. Do you notice the Kerry-esque way in which this was worded? "I was for the war before I was against it."

What strikes me is that all politicians do this. It is not a Republican nor Democratic policy. McCain Flip-flopped on the immigration bill. He proposed it and attempted to run it through with Kennedy before the American people got in an uproar and had it shut down. Now he says he's seen the error of his ways and is against it. Obama is no stranger to this wishy-washy policy making either. Need we remind him of his record on NAFTA? Gun control? Withdrawing troops from Iraq? Public Financing? Corporate tax cuts? Welfare reform? The 2005 Bush-Cheney Energy Bill? Nuclear power? Individual health care mandates? Immunity for telecoms? Death penalty? Meeting with pernicious heads of state without preconditions? The division of Jerusalem? ... I could go on and on and on, but I think I've made my point.

They've all flip-flopped.

Putting aside any racial innuendos (hey, I didn't make the cliche), isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?

This is about as effective as his calling her, "unexperienced".

Find an issue, Barry. Hypocracy isn't going to carry this election. It isn't going to convince me to give you my vote anyway.

Oh... I've got another pair of "thong sandals" I like.. they're by Reef and they've got bottle openers on the bottoms just in case. Hey, you never know.

At least she changed her mind on the
"Bridge." Obama voted for the earmark twice. She also cut her state's earmark requests by half. Obama secured Illinois plenty of Federal cash, so I don't think he really wants to have this debate.
