I believe I've found my calling

It will never make me money, but I think I've found it.

Are you ready?

I can almost pinpoint the perfect movie to go with a meal, or vice versa.

Maybe I can sell this idea to the newspaper and write a weekly article with a recipe/meal idea and a movie suggestion. I don't know... Let me try it out.

Tonight J and I had a lamb stuffed with a spinach/garlic and ground pork stuffing. It was siddled with roasted, cubed potatoes mixed with the same spinach/pork mixture and accompanied with a nice cabernet. I chose "S1m0ne" with Al Pacino and Winona Ryder. To put the theory to test, I asked Jax to shoot some meal ideas at me:

Spiral cut Honey Ham with Candied Yams and Sweet Tea = National Lampoon's Vacation, European Vacation, or Vegas Vacation.

Sausage and Mushroom Deep Crust Pizza with Bud Light = Field of Dreams, A League of Their Own, The Rookie, or The Natural.

Chicken Breast marinated with a white wine atop wild rice with mixed, steamed vegetables, and a nice Sauvignon Blanc = Phantom of the Opera, Sideways, Runaway Jury.

Go ahead, try it out, see if I'm on to something. Give me a movie or a meal (please be exacting with the meal, the marinade, the sides, or the drink can make all the difference, also include if this is a "mood meal" for you and what mood is associated with it) and I will see what I can come up with.

Anyway, I think I might just farm this out if I get enough of a reaction from you guys. Am I on to something here? Or am I, as usual, full of it. My idea is the possibility of writing a Sunday sidebar with a recipe/meal idea and a movie suggestion to accompany it. I might even do it here a time or two to see what you all think of it.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you guys in on the ground floor. Welcome.

Alright, smarty-pants. Here are some challenges for you:

Food:

- Ramen Noodles with Tuna, Bud Light

- Two Vanilla Crunch Power Bars, two slices of American Cheese, one can of diet coke, cinnamon graham teething biscuits
- Five Guinnesses, pretzels

Love ya, bro! You suck at this game and are powerless in the face of my mighty diet!

Here's some more for you, with some handy hints!

- Dude, Where's My Car (Sweet!)
- When Harry Met Sally (I'll have what she's having)
- Malibu's Most Wanted (white meat masquerading as dark meat)
- Fight Club (meat tenderizer)
- The Maltese Falcon (mystery bird dish?)
- Rope (Dinner Party)
- Reservoir Dogs (diner food)

It's been forever since this challenge was posted, but I'm bored so here goes:

-Ramen Noodles with Tuna, Bud Light
Major League
- Cottage Cheese and Canned Peaches, Pomegranate Juice, Saltine Crackers
Who eats cottage cheese? That stuff's gross. Try Little Monsters or anything with John Candy (I'd say Delerious or Nothing But Trouble). They have about as much taste.
- Two Vanilla Crunch Power Bars, two slices of American Cheese, one can of diet coke, cinnamon graham teething biscuits
Let's see...Cheap, resourceful, nutritious, sweet flavor, but definately american. I'd say HERO with Dustin Hoffman and Gena Davis
- Five Guinnesses, pretzels, microwave pizza, protein bar, veggies & beef baby stew.
Snatch
