There's bad ideas, and then there's this.

Here's a quiz for you.

Photo C is the only picture taken on September 11, 2001. The rest of the pictures were taken on April 27, 2009 by some very scared New Yorkers while Air Force One flew over the city for a photo op. Cost? Over $300,000.

Would you like to see the ONE picture released from the White House from this event?

My favorite parts are the glare from the cockpit glass and the shadow across the bottom from the frame of the window. All in all, I'd say it was $300,000 well spent. What about you?

Hey, three of those pictures have my company's office buildings in it! Many of those frightened photos were taken by my coworkers. Don't worry, though, it's not like they were scarred by 9/11 to the point that they were upset by this.
